Childbirth In Lexington, TN
Childbirth and Midwifery
Come experience the difference! When you are pregnant and come to the Woman’s Clinic, your joy becomes our joy. You have so many options to choose from. You may see a physician, a midwife, or both during pregnancy. When it comes time to deliver, you may have a physician only or a midwife. Again, your choice unless there are complications or a c-section is necessary and then a physician will be with you during this. Our physicians and midwives work as a close knit team.
“We want to spoil every patient rotten when they come through our doors. We are continuing to adapt our practice to your wishes and your comments so that you know exceptional service is our goal and mission here. If we ever fail at this, we want to know because we want to do it better every time. Thank you for the privilege of serving you and trusting your care to us. We love being a part of your memory of bringing your child into the world and want you to have the best experience possible”.
Jon R. Ewing, Chief Operating Officer.
“You will only do this a few times in your life (pregnancy). When it’s all over, what’s most important, is that you can look back at your experience and love it. Whatever it takes for you to love it, that’s what we will do. Want an epidural? Yes! Want to go natural? Yes! Prefer a medical doctor? Yes! Whatever it takes, that’s what we’ll do. Your birth story is your story forever, and I want it to be great”
Hannah Yelverton, Certified Nurse Midwife.
“We wanted to add midwifery services to the many options for women at the Woman's Clinic to give women a choice for their care. Midwifery services offer a compassionate, patient centered approach to childbirth. Midwife services tend to be a little more personalized providing the mother with individualized education, counseling, and assistance during prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Another advantage is the collaborative care offered between midwives and physicians which is available during the childbirth experience. Monitoring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the childbearing cycle is of utmost importance”
David Soll, MD.
